Red Velvet Cake Recipe

Red velvet cake, with it's beautiful red tint, is the perfect showstopper for your holiday table. It has a flavor that's not quite chocolate, but not quite vanilla either. It is traditionally frosted with a creamy white icing, either a butter roux frosting (sometimes referred to as cooked flour frosting) or a cream cheese frosting.
